WinningRoom Online Casino Review
WinningRoom is a Casino which originated as Vinnarum, targetting mainly the Scandinavian market. Nowadays this casino is part of a group of triplets each targetting their own area. Vinneri.com for Finland, Vinnarum.com for Sweden and WinningRoom.com for the rest of us. The casino is run by Evoke Gaming, who also operates other sites such as Redbet.com, Mamamiabingo.com and Bertil.com. Evoke was acquired by Mr Green group of casino.
On their site they write that the casino launched back in 2004, but the domain itself was created in 2009. Perhaps the years are mixed up from another site of Evoke Gaming, but clearly attention to detail is not the strongest side of the WinningRoom team.
Why play at WinningRoom
So what is the best reason to give WinningRoom a shot? Well, to be honest there doesn’t see to be a lot of things going on in this casino. No promotions outside of the Welcome bonus, which is a 100% up to €100.
Winningroom is one of those casinos you sign up, get the deposit bonus and go nuts. It might not become one of your regular casinos, unless you get lucky of course. So the best reasons to join is the Welcome bonus and the large range of different slots available.
The Welcome bonus at WinningRoom is a pretty standard 100% up to €100, and can be used on most games. There are a few things to watch out for in the terms and conditions. First off, the wagering requirement on the bonus is a quite hefty 35 times bonus plus deposit. However, if the bonus is 99% or lower, you only have to wager the bonus 25 times the bonus plus deposit.
Another key term to note is the max bet limit of €2. This is one of the lowest max bets for bonus wagering we have ever seen to be honest. Beware if you were planning to bet higher than €2, as this casino might confiscate your money if you do. If you want to go for it on volatile slots, this could be the bonus for you. Sign up at WinningRoom here.
Slots are not few and far between at WinningRoom. A wide range of providers are available, such as Netent, Quickspin and Microgaming. Through aggregator solutions such as NYX Interactive and Microgaming Quickfire, where casinos get access to many smaller providers. These smaller providers are not in a position to have their own platforms for selling their games, so they go through aggregators.
Some of the new games available in WinningRoom’s slot lobby are The One Armed Bandit from Yggdrasil, John Hunter: Aztec Treasure from Pragmatic play. They also cover Blueprint gaming’s slots, such as Buffalo Rising MegaWays and Return of Kung Megaways.
Game Play Page
The game play page contains a lot of white space, but you can slim it down by removing the side bar and expanding it to full screen mode.
One great thing they have is the option for players to play two games at the same time. When going for that bonus round in a volatile slot, you really want to get there faster. Now you can go double the speed, and get twice the fun!
The filter feature at WinningRoom is a quite nifty feature which can help you find the games you will like more easily. The Volatility setting is not something we often see at casinos, but it can really be a good tool when searching for your next game. High volatility games are games where you can win really, really big. Sometimes upwards of 50 000 times your bet or more. The downside of this is of course that a lot of spins are losing spins. Thus, you can see a big dent in your bankroll quite quickly.
Low Volatility games on the other hand are games where you will get a lot longer play time in general. In these games, wins are more frequent, but instead smaller. Don’t be fooled about volatility though, as low volatility games can still produce really good win upwards of 1000-2000 times your bet.
WinningRoom covers the main jackpots from Netent and Microgaming, such as Mega Fortune, Hall of Gods and the Mega Moolah. They have a large range of smaller slots as well. One of the favourite jackpot slots in Norway, Germany and Austria is Mega Joker. This is an old 3×3 reel slot from Netent, released way back in the early 2010s. This jackpot slot has an average payout of around €17 000, but we have seen it fall our as low as €2000 and as high as €75000. The swings are huge in this game.
Promotions at WinningRoom
The main promotion outside of the Welcome bonus in the Casino are the Quickspin Achievements. The Quickspin Achievements are in-game missions in Quickspin’s games where you can earn tokens. These tokens can then be exchanged for either Free Spins or Feature Spins. Now, this is something that almost all sites have running, in fact, we can’t remember a site where this wasn’t turned on by Quickspin. However, very few sites actually market this under their promotions. It is normally just something that is there when you open any Quickspin game.
WinningRoom seems like a casino where everyone has left but no one remembered to turn the lights off. Their about us page still states that they are owned by Bonnier AB, which they haven’t been since 2017 when Mr Green acquired Evoke Gaming.
There are retention offers sent out on regular basis, and new games always gets released in their lobby. However, outside of that, not a lot of things change. The promotional pages have looked the same with the same offers for over half a year. We hope this casino snaps back up and start enticing us to play here. We’ll give this Online Casino a 2.5 points out of 5.0.
Check out our review on Mr Green, a sister Casino to WinningRoom, which we rated at a solid 4.0 stars. The team at WinningRoom could take a page or two out of the Mr Green playbook.
