In terms of graphics and the feel of the game is shares a lot with it’s predecessor and the Lord of the Rings slot of course. Battlestar Galactica has some extra features to enhance the gameplay for us slot players.

Summary of the slot

The soundtrack to this slot is stunning, really atmospheric and it changes according to each game mode. The Ion Storm feature, in the limited time I’ve played,  seems to pop up more often than in TS2 or LOTR. When switching mode into Fight Mode (that’s the green mode) the wins pay both ways (left to right and right to left) This mode also introduces a special character on the middle reel which always results in a 5 of a kind – the symbol scrolls to give you a winning 5 of a kind – very nice feature! In red mode the middle window random symbol is removed and it’s back to thee scattered ships awarding free spins.

After a set number of wins you will be promoted through the Battlestar Galactica ranks – beginning as a cadet you’ll become a Private and on up to an Admiral 8th class!

Scatters are great but not so great in Fight Mode (Red mode) I got 4 scatters and only 5 free spins – for less than 10 euros the first time. IN normal mode you get 15 free spins, much better value seeing as the random wilds in Fight mode are pretty few and far between.
