Book of Ra Temple of Gold slot review and play for free.
It never gets old no matter how many versions they release.
There’s little to compare to the anticipation after you land two of those books.
The most successful and most emulated slot series of all time just keeps on giving with Book of Ra Temple of Gold.
It’s still not a pretty game, nor does it have the bells and whistles we’ve come to expect from most studios.
As for the sounds it uses the ‘galloping horses’ sound that has been a staple of offline slots for decades but you know what, it doesn’t matter one iota.
All you want to hear is the ha. haa, haaaa as you land three books. In this case another couple of haaa haaa’s is something to really cheer about. More on that in a bit.
It’s all about the explorer symbols as usual.
5 of a kind will get you 500x.
Books are wilds as well as scatters.
The Book of Ra Temple of Gold Base Game
You know it by now.
If not book a week off work cos you’ve got a lot of catching up to do, and you’ll enjoy it.
Our resourceful, and pretty attractive, explorer is in the land of the Aztecs (could be the Incas…) on the search for lost treasure.
It’s a 10-line 5-reel setup.
Not a lot happens in the base game to be fair – it’s all about chasing those three books and getting into the bonus round…
The bonus round in Book of Ra Temple of Gold
Land those elusive books and you’ll be presented with a random selector.
This will stop on a symbol and that will act as your expanding symbol for the bonus round.
This gives you the potential for a full screen if you land one symbol on each reel. Time to book that holiday!
It’s a nice one.
In the old Book of Ra additional scatters only mattered to the initial win.
With Temple of Gold you’ll be screaming out for additional scatters.
- 3 scatters = 1 expanding symbol
- 4 Scatters = 2 expanding symbols
- 5 scatters = 3 expanding symbols.
I know, I can barely contain myself either.
It’s not quite Gunslinger but that’s a lot of expanding symbols for a Book of Ra game.
It could be absolutely epic.
The free spins should land on average around every 200 spins. The 5 trigger free spins? I don’t know, but I’m going to give it a bloody good go at working it out.
So far I’ve only managed one synbol triggers and this is the best result…
Book of Ra Temple of Gold – Conclusion
It’s a Book of Ra, we were always going to like it.
they’ve achieved something here though. They’ve really added to the excitement of the game and pitched it perfectly at the kind of player who loves the Book Series.
I’m one of them. I have been disappointed in some versions of the game in the past but this one gets a massive thumbs up.
Maybe you could have a word with Big Time Gaming and give us the proper Ra Megaways we all want… Oh, go on!
