Jack and the Beanstalk online slot was released by Netent on December 12th, 2011.
Robin Hood looked great but sadly the gameplay just wasn’t well balanced. So – is this one any better?
Well, I’m really happy to report that – Yes – it definitely is better than Robin Hood. It shares some elements with that game, the reel look similar and there are some nice animations. There is a Walking Wild in Jack & the Beanstalk. That means that any time you see a Wild on screen it moves one space to the left with each subsequent spin. Nice.

Walking Wilds
When a Wild symbol appears on the reels, a re-spin is awarded.
- During the re-spin the Wild symbol moves one reel to the left with chances of more winnings.
- Re-spins continue as long as a Wild symbol is present on the reels.
- All wins with Wild symbols pay coin win x3.
- The Walking Wild feature appears both in the main game and in Free Spins.
- Free Spins cannot be triggered when a Walking Wild is active.
As long as there is a wild on the screen the spins are free – until the wild drops off the edge – that can lead to some nice wins if you get a Wild on reel 5!

The bags of gold bring in a double stacked wild, the Golden Goose introduces a 3-line stacked wild and the Golden Harp brings with it expanded wilds. When you take into account the fact that any spins with a wild showing are free spins this can result in really really nice wins – see the screenshot below as an example. I was really afraid that this game would turn out like Robin Hood did but I’m extremely glad to say that it hasn’t.
