Moon Princess Online Grid Slot from PlaynGo – Review, Mega Win Video and Free to Play

Moon Princess is an Online Grid Slot from PlaynGo, released in 2017. It is one of the more popular grid slots from PlaynGo. Over the years, they have created a large library of this kind of slot. In our book, they have this genre down to a tee. A few of their other grid slots are Gemix, Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness and Rise of Olympus. The last one is actually very similar to Moon Princess.

Pay Table

The Slot has eight different symbols, which are the Wild, the three Princesses, Love, Star and Storm as well as the winged Bell, the Red Heart, the Blue Star and the Green Coin. The Wild pays the most, with 250 coins if you get five of a kind. The princesses all pay the same, with a five of a kind netting you 50 coins and a three of a kind only 1.5 coin. The Princesses also pay when they are mixed together. They pay less then, but it comes in handy for charging up the Trinity Meter.

The lower paying symbols in Moon Princess pay slightly less than the Princesses, at only 15 coins for 5 of a kind and 0.75 for a three of a kind. However, as the multiplier goes up, so does the winnings. Thus. in the Free Spins every win starts helping your balance a lot.

Girl Power in Moon Princess

Girl Power is a feature which can activate at random. The Moon Princess on the right hand of the Screen will perform her magic. Each princess has a different kind of Magic. The Princess of Love chooses one set of symbols and transforms them into another symbol. Here you are of course hoping for her to choose the most abundant symbol on the screen and turn them into a Princess symbol to take you into the Trinity Free Rounds.

The Star Princess will turn one or two symbols into wilds, and the Princess of the Storm will pick two kinds of symbols and destroy all matching symbols. Whenever we play this game on the stream or off the stream, it always feels like the one Princess to hope for is Love. Love will get you to the free spins more often than not. Storm will leave you wanting more and the Star, well she can work miracles sometimes.

Base Game

The Base Game is all about filling up the Trinity Charger. This is the pink circle in the lower left corner. The outside of the circle will start filling up with Blue as you get three or more Princesses in a row. If you get four in a row, the meter will increase by 2 steps and if you hit five of a kind, you’re straight into the Princess Trinity Free Rounds.

The slot is a grid slot with exploding blocks. Each three of a kind will leave a Wild symbol behind in the middle after exploding. Four and Five of a kind does not spawn a Wild. What you are hoping for here is to get two Wilds next to each other on the bottom line. This can create a cascading effect where you get several wins in a row.

Multiplier

Each consecutive win during a spin will increase the multiplier on any following wins. Cascading wins followed by a Princess Trinity Free Rounds and then making it to the Free Spins round in Moon Princess can lead to a huge multiplier and massive wins.

Princess Trinity Free Rounds

When you fill in the Trinity Charge, the Princess Trinity Free Rounds will start in Moon Princess. This will cause a new set of symbols to land on the grid. After the normal exploding of any matching symbols, each Princess will perform their magic on the board. First the Princess of Love will choose a symbol and turn it into another symbol. After another reaction it is Star’s turn. One or two Wilds are added to the screen. After hopefully another reaction, Storm will choose two kind of symbols to destroy.

If by now, you have managed to clear the board you are off to the free spins. Now you get to choose which Princess you want to have on your side during the feature.

Moon Princess Free Spins

The Free Spins feature in Moon Princess activates if you manage to clear out the board during the Princess Trinity Free Rounds. You now get to choose which of the three Moon Princesses you want to have active during the free spins. Each one starts with a different amount of free spins, and each give a different amount when recharging.

Recharging happens the same way as the Princess Trinity Free Rounds activates. In other words, by charging the trinity meter with three charges. If you are feeling lucky, go with LOVE and start with four free spins but get four extra each recharge. Want to play it safe? Go with Storm and start with eight free spins.
