Free spin round triggers when you land the bonus symbol on reels 2,3 and 4. This gets you 10 free spins. The pirate team then turns into Wilds on reels 2,3,4 and 5. Giving you even more of a chance to hit it big. And don’t forget the re-trigger! 3 Bonus symbols landing within the free spin round gives you an additional 10 free spins. There’s no cap to how many times the re-trigger can happen either.

Pirate Gold also has a lucky treasure bag feature, which I really loved. When 8 or more of the money bags land you trigger the lucky bag feature. It starts after all the winning combinations for the lines have been paid. All the normal symbols disappear, and you’re left with just the money bags that triggered the feature. Here the only symbols you’re going to get are the money bag symbols, retrigger symbols, multiplier symbols and empty spaces.

Starting with 3 spins, all money symbols that hit stick until the end of the round. Then, each time a money symbol lands, the re-spins start back up again. You can also land re-spin triggers too! Honestly, you can re-spin and re-spin and re-spin so many times! The round ends only when either the spins have all played out or if the screen is full of money bags.

The jackpots can be triggered again through the money bags, depending on the bag, you can win the minor, major or grand jackpots.

Summary

The potential feels huge with this game. We’ve had many a pirate featured games. Lost and won our fair share of money bags. And this will not be any different, we’re going to be putting the spins in!
