The slot is unsurprisingly based  on an Egyptian theme.
Specifically Cleopatra.

Cleopatra is one of the best-known women in history, famed for her supposed beauty and intellect, and her love affairs with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.

She became queen of Egypt following the death of her father, Ptolemy XII, in 51 BC, and is often portrayed by Hollywood as a glamourous femme fatale.
Most men would recall Elizabeth Taylor’s portrayal as the stand out but I’d argue that Amanda Barrie in carry on Cleo is the seminal screen example.

The base game

It’s important to note right off that there is no bonus round in Queen of Riches but the base game benefits from multiplying full reel wilds and cloned reels.
It’s a fun base game though so it’s not like you’ll be grinding away in boredom just waiting for something to happen in the absence of a bonus round.

Multiplying Full Reel Wilds

Queen of Riches main feature multiplying full reel wilds .
Not only does the Cleopatra wild cover the entire reel but it also multiplies up to 7x any involved winning combination.

Furthermore, if more than one wild contributes to a win then the values of each are multiplied. For example, if two wilds with 7x multipliers contribute to a win then that win will be multiplied by 49. Kerching!

It can get ridiculously exciting when there’s a chance of this landing. Just hoping and praying the symbols match all the way across and you get paid.

There are few feelings to match that one in slots.

Like most of Big Time Gaming’s slots the purple premium symbol is the highest paying.

In this case the purple top-payers are represented by golden pyramids with a purple sunset background.

If your lucky enough to hit this across all 6 reels along with the multiplying wilds just scream the house  down with joy and give yourself a pat on the back,  You’ve done it !

Cloned Reels in Queen of Riches

The game also features Cloned Reels.

You know how this works if you’ve played  Netent’s Twin Spin or  Conan for example.

On any spin the reels can be highlighted and cloned to give you between 2 and 5 reels that match up.

Of course you still have to match up the missing first reel usually, and of course usually you’ll bust out.

It’s a fun addition though.

Queen of Riches – Conclusion

This slot is great fun to play it is volatile though so pick a stake you can comfortably afford to ride out a losing streak with.Would I be happy to invest a full bullet on this slot?   Well yes, the mechanic makes me wan’t more and obviously I want to see the huge 117,649 lines potential .
Sure BTG are making bigger and better slots these days but this classic is always one to go back to.
