The sticky bandits are back and they’re stickier than ever!

Oh God, did I just write that? The lure of a double entendre is just too much with this game name.

The Sticky bandits Wild return is of course a sequel to the popular Quickspin slot Sticky Bandits.

The game takes place on a  5 reels, 40 paylines setup.

The base game is decent given the stacked wilds and symbols you can pull in some good returns. Although not as big as we would like.

The Sticky Bandits – Wild Return Quick Slot bonus

Land the quick slot bonus symbol on the fifth reel and you’ll go into the, you’ve guessed it haven’t you? The Quick Slot bonus round.

This can pay between 4x and 500x (or nothing of course).

It’s pretty frequent though and it’s a fun little aside.

in fact it mirrors my bar visits perfectly.

Pint (or a shot of bourbon barkeep) and then over to the fruity…

It’s a very nice addition. I would have loved to see a bag drop or a lightning links style side game. Everybody’s doing it – and for good reason it adds another level of excitement to the game.

The Sticky Bandits Wild Return Lucky Shot Free Spins

The standout feature is the Lucky Shot Free Spins.

You’ll kick things off with 7 free spins.

Every time an Outlaw appears on the reels they will fire a hot – that will transform a random symbol.

If the shot manages to hit on a 2×2 or a 3×3 outlaw symbol then those symbols will turn into Sticky Wilds.

Nice!

Summary

A really nice game. beautiful presentation and a compelling mechanic.

I think they could have taken the opportunity to up the max wins, maybe remove some low pays to accommodate that.

Still, they don’t all have to be absolute beasts to be fun.

I’m looking forward to Sticky Bandits round 3.
