Streetfighter 2 review and play for free

We’re peaking too soon – we’re just excited.

Back in 1987 if you were a geeky nerdy kid you played computer games (it was different then right?).

If you were a really nerdy kid you played Streetfighter 2 and dreamed of pulling off those moves on your classmates and bullies.

Let me tell you something kids, it doesn’t work. You’ll just end up missing the roundhouse kick falling flat on your arse and looking really stupid in front of everyone, including the bullies. But, enough about me!

Streetfighter 2 the slot

Eddie Honda is back and he’s brought Ryu, Ken and the gang with him. Yes!

Before you start to play the slot you naturally get to choose your character. It doesn’t make a sniff of difference but it’s nice to pick your favourite.

Wild Gauge

During the base game and in the Beat the Boss free spins your character has a Wild Gauge above his head.

The Wild Cauge fill sone point whenever you get a win with a high paying symbol in it.

You need 7 points in a spin to fill up the gauge and that activates a Wild Combo which randomly adds Wild symbols across the grid.

Beat the Boss Free spins

Win your battle and you’ll find yourself fighting in the Beat the Boss free spins. Each level has its own unique boss to beat and carries a win multiplier. The feature continues until you are beaten (softie!)  or if you defeat the top boss at the last level – M. Bison. 

Remember when you’d get battered and you could keep going by inserting a coin to continue? They’ve got that!

If you lose a battle during the Beat the Boss rounds, you can metaphorically ‘insert coin to continue’ and you’re back in the game!

Boom! Great stuff Netent a real retro treat and a great licence to get hold off.

We’ll be updating the review after we’ve had a chance to really devote some time to this.
