The Wolf’s Bane – Netent – slot review and play for free.

Here comes Halloween and here comes a  crop of Halloween and spookily-themed slots.

Netent’s (almost) annual contribution to the genre this time around is The Wolf’s Bane. It was changed at the midnight hour from Wolf’s Night.

It’s a 10-payline slot which, unusually, is medium volatility. You’d expect a high volatility nutter these days with 10-lines but Netent are ploughing their own furrow here.

That or they’ve reused an old game engine. I haven’t spotted which one yet if that’s the case…

The game looks amazing. The animation on the wolves is great and it feels dark without being brooding.

It has a max win of 500x so it’s not one for the thrill seekers..

There are 5 features within the game – 4 of which occur within the freespins round.

Select a  symbol and you’ll be rewarded with up to 50x bet (a bit of an annoyance given it can be as low as 5).

The Wolf’s Bane – conclusion.

It’s a decent game.

It looks and plays well.The only issue for me is the volatility. It’s too low for me to enjoy it and the maximum win just isn’t tempting enough.

It has a place, just not on my playlist.

It’s really made me miss the old Netent classic Frankenstein – bring it back Netent!
